Bing Webmaster Tools offers several useful reports and features to analyze and optimize the visibility of your website in Bing, the Google Search Console formerly called  Google Webmaster Tools in Google. search engine optimization like data about the sitemap, a “Search Keywords” report (similar to the old Search Queries report in Google Webmaster Tools or “Fetch as Bingbot” (similar to the “Fetch as Google” functionality in the Google Search Console).

Add Your Website

First you want to create a Microsoft account. Now you can add and verify your website under “My Sites”. Bing offers multiple verification methods :

Add a Website

  • XML File, it needs to be uploaded to the root directory of your website.
  • Meta Tag Authentication: Add the meta tag from Bing Webmaster Tools in the <head> section of your website.
  • Add the Bing CNAME record to your DNS (Domain Name System). you need access to the hosting account of your domain.

Configure Your Website

Thereafter, you have added your website to Bing Webmaster Tools, you can configure it.

  • SiteMaps : By clicking on the tab Submit the URL of your sitemap to Bing. Configuring your site.
  • Submit URLs : If your website is new or not yet in the Bing index for other reasons, you should manually submit the most important pages. You can submit 10 pages per day and 50 per month.
  • Geo-Targeting : We can define the geographic targeting (country) for the entire domain, but also for the separate subfolders and subdomains or even for individual pages.
  • Connected Pages : Here you can connect your apps and social media profiles with your website. If you add these connections, you can see additional information for your apps and social media profiles in Bing Webmaster Tools. The connection with your app sets the basis for app indexing.To activate app indexing you go to the menu item “App Linking” in the configuration menu.

Reports And Features

Bing Webmaster Tools which provides reports and features similar to those in the Google Search Console. Here are the main functionalities.

  • Reports & Data > Page Traffic : you will find the top URLs of your website according to the Bing search algorithm. In addition to the impressions you can also see the clicks, the click-through-rate, the average position and the keywords.
  • Reports & Data > Search Keywords : In this report is same to the page traffic report, but provides data based on the top keywords instead of the top URLs.
  • Reports & Data > SEO Reports : In this report you will find a list of your SEO problems, like for example missing ALT tags or not optimal meta descriptions.
  • Reports & Data > Inbound Links : In this report shows the number of external links to your website, the trend for the number of external links, the linked-to pages, the linking pages and the anchor texts.
  • Reports & Data > Crawl Information: In this report you can see all the crawling issues like broken links, redirects and robots.txt exclusions.
  • Diagnostics & Tools > Keyword Research: The Bing keyword tool is integrated in Bing Webmaster Tools. Here we  can check the search volume for your keywords and identify additional keyword ideas.
  • Diagnostics & Tools > Markup Validator: This tool allows you to check the structured data markups that Bingbot identifies on your website.
  • Fetch As Bingbot  : You can see your page as Bing’s crawler – Bingbot  just enter your URL here and click fetch. You’ll then see the headers and content for the page displayed. Note, unlike the previous tools this only works on pages that you are verified to view in Bing Webmaster Tools.

Blogger and WordPress are entirely different from one another. WordPress is a CMS (Content Management System) so that means you have to pay for things individually (hosting, support, etc). If you don’t think you’re going to make money blogging I would not choose WordPress. It’s expensive to maintain. However, it is a very very powerful tool.

WordPress is the sky limit, you have full control and freedom but you need the know active community support forum and your own hosting company. They are offering premium support.

  • Blogger lacks supports from various services.
  • Your blog have required more than 1GB it should be upgraded.
  • Blogger easily associated with Google analytics so you can easily track the visitors.
  • Search engine optimization(SEO) is not easy in blogger.
  • Fully maintained and controlled by Blogger.
  • Blogger supports AdSense or advertisement services.


  • WordPress is a free blog hosting services and also provide the upgrade.
  • WordPress supports multi-platform through application for IOS, Android.
  • Your blog have used more than 3GB you want to upgrade Your plan.
  • In WordPress, we can see the records of visitors.
  • Search engine optimization(SEO) is easier in WordPress.
  • Many nonpaid themes are in the WordPress.
  • You Responsible for Maintenance (Spam protection, backup, security)
  • In WordPress, it does not support AdSense or advertisement services.

Google Analytics Search Traffic

Traffic is defined by a number of visitors and visits website services. Analytics is a powerful application for tracking traffic patterns on your website.

Types of Website Traffic 

  • Direct traffic

A Visitors that visit your website by typing the URL into a browser.

  • Referral traffic

A Visitors that visit your site by clicking your URL on another site.

  • Organic search Traffic

A Visitors that entering your site by searching a keyword through a search engine like Google, Yahoo, Bing..etc.

  • Campaign Traffic

A Visitors that visits your site by clicking on a link with particular tracking parameter.

Steps in Google Analytics

Step 1 : Sign up your google account

If you have an account on google then go to Google Analytics and click sign in to google analytics. After clicking the sign-up button then fills the information in next window.

Step 2 : Configure your Google Analytics account

After the sign-up process you can go to the next window, you should type your name of account , Website name, Website URL, Industry category and also Reporting time zone.

Step 3 : Reporting Time Zone

It’s very important factor that set the time zone because all over the world you have clients under your google analytics account. So choose the country time zone your website is based on.

Step 4 : Get Tracking ID

After scrolling down  you  will see “Get Tracking ID” click that button it leads to the next window where you can see the “Terms of Service agreement”. Here you also check the country name. You should select a suitable country name based on your website. After all this click “I Accept” button.

Step 5 : Tracking Code

After clicking the button you get a particular tracking code. You want to copy it. Then go to the blogger dashboard and select “Template” option. then click “Edit html”. Where we can edit the html code. Your tracking code should be paste here before the end of the head section. Then click “Save Template”.

Step 6 : All Website Data

After all this you go to the google analytics home page and select your account name. At the below, we can see “All website Data”. After clicking this you get a graph it shows user performance.
